When you’re working on a ladder, you need a space where you can comfortably put your equipment. Made of ballistic nylon and steel, the Cargo Hold™ from Little Giant® is a sturdy tool pouch that attaches to your ladder to keep tools at hand.
The Cargo Hold fits on the top rung of the ladder and can be placed in between your ladder’s rungs. When you place your ladder in the storage position, the Cargo Hold will stay in place, so you don’t have to reattach it next time you use your ladder.
This ladder accessory was designed to be used on any multi-use Little Giant ladder.

This is made of heavy duty fabric and is put together very well. It holds a lot of tools and is easy to attach securely to the ladder.
As convenient as it is to carry all my tools on my person, there just aren't a lot of places to set down an object on a sloped roof, a tree branch, or a narrow ladder step. This solves that problem nicely.

As the title implies I think the cargo holder is better then strapping a bucket to my ladder to hold smaller work items suck as ***** driver, electrical pliers, hammer, adjustable wrenches , tape measure, small electrical fittings - I prefer not to have to wear a pouch full of tools as well as having a place for holding my cordless impact tool

Size refers to the ANSI definition of length. ANSI states that the size is defined by the combined length of all rail sections, with a tolerance of +/-3” on each section. Note, this does not take into account any overlap between sliding sections like those on an extension or multi-purpose ladder. This can cause a disparity in the size of the ladder versus the actual height. To determine which ladder you need, Little Giant recommends you reference maximum reach height instead of size.
The terminology for ladder duty ratings, grades, and types can sometimes be confusing. The ladder's duty rating is the maximum safe load capacity of that ladder according to ANSI standards. There are 3 types of ratings that Little Giant offers:
Type I - Made to handle everyday projects. Has a load capacity of 250 lbs.
Type IA- Designed with durability and regular use in mind. Has a load capacity of 300 lbs.
Type IAA- Built for professional performance and rugged use. Has a load capacity of 375 lbs.
Ladder specifications can be confusing due to safety regulation requirements. According to ANSI (American National Standards Institute), the ladder size is defined as the total length of each section and does not account for overlap on extension ladders. As a result, the overlapping sections reduce the total length of the ladder. When purchasing any ladder customers should pay particular attention to the maximum reach to ensure the correct product for the job.
